Sean Sullivan is Chief Human Resources Officer for the National Electrical Manufacturers
Association (NEMA). He is responsible for aligning a values-driven culture to the
organization’s strategic vision, advancing industry workforce development initiatives, and
overseeing facilities and office services.
Sean has over two decades of executive experience across non-profit, healthcare, and
technology sectors. Prior to joining NEMA in 2023, Sean led Human Resources at the Society
for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Tufts Medical Center, and held senior
leadership positions at SAIC, Leidos, and Northrop Grumman. His expertise spans
organizational design, leadership development, executive compensation, talent acquisition,
and M&A integration.
Sean holds a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse
University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Syracuse University. He is a SHRM
Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and has completed executive education
programs at Cornell University, the University of Michigan, and the Wharton School at the
University of Pennsylvania.
