Los Angeles Fire Response Resources
Driven by the Santa Ana winds, wildfires spread in several populated areas in and around Los Angeles. Some neighborhoods and communities lost most of their homes in the blaze. As more areas were evacuated, needs grew for temporary shelter, along with food, water, and respirators.
To support the ongoing relief efforts, CAF America has currated a list of responding 501(c)3s that are currently eligible with CAF America. To give directly to these responding organizations, please click the links below.
Airlink
Airlink is providing free-of-charge flights to responders, who will provide essential services, including child care, clearing fire-damaged debris, tree removal, tarping, temporary shelters, and distributing non-food essentials like hygiene kits, water, and fuel.
Direct Relief
Direct Relief is working to support communities grappling with hazardous conditions. In partnership with local health associations, community clinics, and volunteer groups, Direct Relief has made its current inventory available—including 2.3 million N95 respirators, prescription medicines, Tdap vaccines, medical supplies, and hygiene kits—tailored to meet the urgent health needs created by wildfire smoke, poor air quality, and displacement. Deliveries of wildfire kits and reentry kits—developed from Direct Relief’s years of experience in disaster response—are underway, with contents that include essential medicines and equipment to treat common health conditions during and after mass evacuations.
The Midnight Mission
In response to the wildfire, The Midnight Mission is distributing masks, water, and meals to those impacted. Additionally, The Midnight Mission is providing shelter and other support as necessary for unhoused community members.

They are committed to supporting local shelters, health workers, and marginalized communities by addressing critical gaps, particularly in shelter and mental health support.
