With over 2,600 reported deaths and 2,500 injured in critical condition (and rising), this earthquake has devastated the historic city of Marrakech and surrounding regions, with the need for aid is outpacing current resources. The Morocco Earthquake Relief Fund will provide much-needed support to fully vetted organizations already on the ground administering essential services and humanitarian aid. For a list of CAF America’s pre-approved charities that are responding to the earthquake, please visit our resources page.
All of the organizations that will be supported by the CAF America Morocco Earthquake Relief Fund will first be fully vetted by CAF America, as we ensure support to the vital relief efforts already underway.
One of the most challenging aspects of disasters and humanitarian crises is the need to act quickly with limited information. CAF America has the ability to grant funds to validated charities, getting the charities the funds they need right when they need them.
