I am Margot Cunningham, CAF America’s Officer of Marketing and Communications. My responsibilities in this role include planning, creating, and implementing marketing and communications strategies, with a focus on building awareness of our mission and engaging prospects and donors with long-form content and event opportunities. I also work closely with the team on strategic audience segmentation and communications customization for targeted audiences. I take a data-driven and personalized approach to marketing, engaging with our analytics to track engagement rates, reach, and overall performance to identify areas of opportunity.
Before coming to CAF America, I worked in marketing and brand management in the travel and leisure and consumer products industries. Many of the companies I worked for were mission-driven and aspired beyond their business to help uplift their local communities, something I am very passionate about.
In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors as much as possible and you can find me skiing, hiking, and scuba diving. I am also an avid traveler, having visited 24 countries with a goal to visit all 7 continents.
I have a Master of Marketing from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and B.A. in Anthropology with a Marketing Minor from the College of William and Mary.
