Cheetahs Need Our Help

With only around 6,500 cheetahs left in the wild, every individual counts. In South Africa's 30,000-hectare Munywana Conservancy, cheetahs play a vital role in maintaining a healthy, balanced ecosystem.

Today, disease poses a serious threat to this population of cheetahs. Conditions such as mange and respiratory illnesses can be fatal without treatment. As climate impacts make cheetahs even more vulnerable to these diseases, timely treatment is more urgent than ever.

Your gift will provide life-saving veterinary care and disease monitoring for cheetahs in the Munywana Conservancy. By protecting cheetahs, you're also helping safeguard biodiversity and the long-term health of this important ecosystem.

Wild Impact has been in partnership with the Munywana since 1992. Through their long-term, science-based cheetah conservation efforts, the Conservancy has helped strengthen one of South Africa's most important cheetah populations, which has been critical to the health of the region's broader metapopulation.

Donate today to help ensure cheetahs have a future in the wild.

Wild Impact is an independent, tax-exempt non-profit organization registered in South Africa. Our mission is to support the conservation of Earth’s last wild places for the good of humankind.

Wild Impact advances conservation-based community development in over 150 communities across 14 conservation landscapes and seascapes on three continents. Working hand in hand with local partners, we believe that true conservation happens when the benefits of protecting nature are shared with the communities who live alongside it. By protecting biodiversity, restoring natural habitats, and empowering communities, we are helping to create a healthier, more sustainable future for both people and nature.
